Biography
Sergio Giavanni Kitchens (born June 14, 1993), better known by his stage name Gunna, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is signed to Young Thug's record label YSL Records.
Kitchens was born in College Park, Georgia. He was raised by his mother and has four older brothers. He started making music at age fifteen. He grew up listening to Cam'ron and Outkast, among others.
In 2013, Gunna released the mixtape Hard Body under the name Young Gunna. Gunna was introduced to Young Thug through King Troup, a mutual friend and community figure who died in December 2015. Gunna later recorded "Floyd Mayweather" with Young Thug in 2016.
Also in 2016, Gunna released his debut mixtape Drip Season through YSL Records. He released the mixtapes Drip Season 2 in May 2017 and Drip Season 3 in February 2018.
In October 2018, he and Lil Baby released the joint mixtape Drip Harder which peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
