Biography
Shrty - pioneer and trend setter of melodic Afrobeat in Finland. The artist combines trap music, hip-hop and afroswing, bringing a European sound to the domestic music scene. The flow formed by these elements guarantees a versatile and convincing listening experience both in the studio and on stage.
Shrty works closely with the biggest names in the Finnish music scene, from JVG to Gettomasa and Fabe. The artist is currently working on his second studio album, from which the first single release Sun Takii reached the top of the Finnish Top 50 list. The latest release is the 4-song "TEMPO" EP released at the end of last summer - skillfully dealing with a fast-paced phase of life, foreshadowed by the single release Loukku (Feat. Blacflaco).
The artist has worked closely with Lameboy and MD$, looking for influences from, among other things, Swedish and Dutch production. The versatility of the goal-oriented artist is indicated by the fact that, in addition to rapping and singing, he has excelled as a producer.
