In 2015, frontman and singer Jeremias Heimbach, who had previously made music as a singer-songwriter, teamed up with Oliver Sparkuhle to realize the idea of a band together. It was officially founded in 2018. Jeremias has been playing in the current line-up since spring 2018. At a performance in Helmstedt, Lower Saxony, the band was discovered and signed by an artist agency.
Jeremias became known to a larger audience as the opening act for Giant Rooks and OK Kid, among others. The band released their debut EP Du muss an den Frühling glauben, produced by Tim Tautorat, in October 2019. On May 28, 2021, the band's first album Golden Hour was released, which reached number 9 in the German album charts.
In 2022, Jeremias accompanied rapper Cro as the opening act on his “Trip is (a)live” tour.
Jeremias' music, according to their own statements, has stylistic similarities with the music of Parcels and Tom Misch . The band describes their style as a separate genre, "disco-funk".
