Praise for METRONOMY's LOVE LETTERS:
"... darker, more satisfying, and ultimately superior record in their wake."- Under The Radar (8.5/10)
"Joe Mount blends Abba voices and Dexy's hooks till the Seventies bleed into the Eighties." - Rolling Stone
"... there's no one making such gorgeously melodic and wide-reaching electronic pop music quite like (Joe Mount)... Love Letters is surely his masterpiece, a potent mix of analogue synths, raw beats, folk influences and a McCartney-esque talent for tunes." - Mix Mag (9/10)
"Metronomy is effortlessly unconcerned and it's why they're different. They're a hard-working little boat from a seaside town going on a journey through an ocean of fakers, copycats, and naysayers. Insular yet inviting, experimental yet poppy, intense no previous, retro yet current, lovelorn and sexed... With every album, (Mount)'s created a distinct and vivid sonic world all of its own, set adrift from pop culture and prevailing trends." - NME
