To celebrate B2R's arrival on the West Coast, the school will host an open house on Saturday, June 7 from 12-4 p.m. at 82
Clarksville Road, Suite 100. The community is invited to tour the school, learn about individual lessons and group classes, check out the recording studio, meet the teachers, and more.
"We saw a demand in Folsom and across Sacramento County for high-quality music education, especially with the growing number of students affected by budget cuts in the state of California that eliminated many music and arts programs," said Brian Gross, president of Bach to Rock. "Studies have shown that learning to play music in a group helps students learn teamwork, develop social skills and build self esteem, among other benefits. Every student should have the opportunity to be exposed to music education, so we are excited to introduce our fun, progressive curriculum to families in Folsom."
Bach to Rock Folsom will offer a variety of programs for both children and adults, including individual lessons, group classes such as Rock Band, early childhood programs for children as young as six months old, and summer camps. With the addition of B2R Folsom, Bach to Rock will have nine schools open and 17 franchised locations in development across the U.S.
