At the helm of One Worship Live is Worship Pastor, Emaurie Woods. Emaurie joined the church in 2012 bringing with him a wide-range of ministry experience including a five-year stint leading 15,000 students per week in worship at
Liberty University. Woods has also led worship on national television in
India and Kenya, and he has worked with nationally acclaimed bands such as United Pursuit.
Following the Spirit's prompting, nearly a year ago Woods and other worship leaders began writing music to encourage believers that there is always more of Jesus. Song lyrics reflect the church's culture to rest in God's grace, live in His presence, and proclaim His favor to their church, their city, their nation, and their world!
"Overwhelming" was recorded in the fall of 2013 when the church hosted an incredible night of worship as they introduced the city to the sound arising from their church. The album was released on May 6, 2014 and was an instant success. It debuted at #34 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel music charts, ahead of Matthew West's "Into the Light," Elevation Worship's "Only King Forever," and
Hillsong United's "Zion Acoustic Sessions." "Overwhelming" is a powerful worship album that is making Jesus known to the nations!
