Ankit Love's "Romeo Juliet" Fashion Film Project Receives Multimillion Dollar Funding Offer
CAMBRIDGE, UK (Top40 Charts/ Quite Great PR) The seminal metamodernist, Ankit Love launches his "Romeo Juliet" movie project budgeted at US$16.5 million as the flagship project of his company Kaliarc Productions. Ankit Love is now in Cannes, meeting potential investors and partners. The project has received a great deal of interest and already has a multimillion dollar offer for funding from an undisclosed Sicilian investor.

"Romeo Juliet" builds on from Ankit Love's accolades as a director with international festival awards and a MTV No.1 hit for his music video "Beethoven Burst", and a standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival two years ago for his 19th century short film "Whale!", which later went on gain more than a million views online. With a prolific creative streak, Ankit Love is a leading figure in the metamodern art movement, and his "Romeo Juliet" oscillates between contrasting inspirations in the spirit of metamodernism.

Ankit Love's vision retains the original Shakespearean text and transports it to the 1910's Indian principality of fair Verona, which is the real life lake city of Udaipur, known as the Venice of India. The film is packed with action and passion, complete with palaces, polo matches, opium dens, belly dancers and vintage power boat and motorcycle chases. The creative genius of Ankit Love is not just limited to one layer in this adaptation, he has also stylised the entire picture in contemporary high fashion and plans to launch a "Romeo Juliet" fashion label inspired by the costumes of the film. This of course follows up on his recent success in fashion, including the branding and photography for his friend the ultra luxury designer Nicole Coste of Knightsbridge, his creative directorship of AU79 the art house urban fashion label, and as editor-in-chief of the fashion and science magazine MIST.

On his team Ankit Love has recruited the BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology alumni, Miss Poland UK, top model and filmmaker Natalia Czarnomska as co-producer. Natalia is part of the exclusive Producers Network at this year's Cannes Film Festival and is modeling at the Hotel Carlton fashion show on Tuesday 20 May 2014.

The film's soundtrack is also highly anticipated by Ankit Love's half million plus Instagram followers and will combine early 20th century melodies with classical Indian music yet all reinterpreted with contemporary production techniques. Ankit Love will create this unique musical blend based on his experience as a successful recording artist with radio and TV hits from his first funk pop album "Forever" and his second album now in production where he explores underground London hip hop and electronic music as a rapper.

In yet another unique twist and unlike any other "Romeo and Juliet" adaptation, Ankit Love will also star in the picture. He is a highly trained actor, alumni of Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and further educated at CalArts and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. The rest of the cast will be a mix of both western and Indian talent making this "Romeo Juliet" adaptation appealing to the largest
audience more than any other previous version. Consequently, Ankit Love and the masterful "Romeo Juliet" adaptation he has authored are in hot demand, anticipated to be one of the most artistically compelling yet commercially viable films to watch out for.
