COWBOYS, OUTLAWS & BORDER TOWN DOGS is available on iTunes, Amazon, and all digital platforms; and the song "Lady Liberty," can be purchased at "ladylibertysong.com" which issues proceeds directly to the charities. "Lady Liberty" follows Danny's heartfelt ballad, the official lead single of the album titled "The Coast is Clear" (penned by Red Lane and
Scotty Emerick), which recently hit Billboard and MediaBase's Top 30 Adult Contemporary charts.
Griego first established himself on the exclusive songwriting scene in Nashville, writing with country songwriting Hall of Famers such as Hank Cochran, Red Lane and Max D. Barnes, and writing tunes later recorded by
Waylon Jennings, Billy Joe Shaver and Michael
Martin Murphey. The Arizona bred,
Texas based troubadour now releases his solo project, bringing a deep rooted Southwestern ancestry with more than 3,000 live gigs across the U.S.
Griego's diverse blend of styles include Outlaw Country, Americana, Mainstream Country and Latin music, featured on songs written or co-written by Griego on the new offering. A true cowboy who ropes and rides; and drives his own bus he calls "Desirea," a 54-foot Peterbilt 379 semi truck fashioned into a tour bus, Griego's "I Think She Only Likes Me For My Willie" and "A Three Legged Border Town Mexican Dog" are currently on Sirius/XM's "Outlaw Country" station and on "Willie's Roadhouse."
