Marina V is embarking on a 7-week coast-to-coast U.S. Summer Tour (called The C Minor To Shining Sea Tour) in her Toyota Prius.
The Los Angeles-based singer and her husband/co-writer and guitarist, Nick Baker, have mapped out, booked and organized the national tour entirely on their own.
They enlisted help from fans, many of whom are financing and hosting several of the shows.

Marina and Nick on an 8,500 mile 25-concert journey across the United States. They will visit
National Parks, historical landmarks, and will be making a documentary along the way.
This kind of tour is extremely unusual, as independent artists like
Marina don't have the big-moneyed marketing machine of the record industry behind them. By being smart and crowdsourcing,
Marina V is managing to pull it off.
"I am extremely grateful to my incredible fans for helping out with this tour.
They're helping us organize the shows, getting us places to stay, publicizing the tour and even helping us make the new tour tshirts!" comments Marina, whose last few albums have been sponsored by her worldwide fanbase (she raised almost $30,000 via her website, MarinaV.com, for her new album, INNER SUPERHERO.)

Marina adds.
"Nick & I have played over 700 concerts worldwide, but this will be our longest tour so far. We are really thrilled about it, and excited to see parts of the U.S. we have not yet seen. And I feel very lucky to have such love and support from my listeners and to be living my dream."
The tour started in Pasadena on June 7th and will take
Marina and Nick through 24 states. It will include several unusual venues such as wineries, living rooms, libraries and even a church. The Tour Wrap Party will be held in the heart of Hollywood at The Record Parlour, a vintage record store with a stage.
