The Mojo Gurus Sign To Red River Entertainment For Their Label Debut This Fall - Get Ready For Some 'Real' Rock And Roll!
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ It's Alive Media) Red River Entertainment announced today, the signing of The Mojo Gurus (https://www.mojogurus.com) and will release the group's new CD, Who Asked Ya?, in Fall 2014. Red River Entertainment is distributed by Sony/RED and was founded by Bob Frank who was the former President of Koch Records / E1 Music during their 10 year run as the number one independent record label in the U.S.

The Mojo Gurus have released three critically acclaimed albums through E1 Music, worked with Grammy Award winning producer Jack Douglas (John Lennon, Aerosmith), played with the likes of Joe Perry, Johnny Winter, Blackberry Smoke, David Allan Coe and built their reputation on their live performances. Based in Tampa Bay, FL., The Mojo Gurus are Kevin Steele on lead vocals and harmonica, Doc Lovett on guitar and vocals, Vinnie Granese on bass and vocals and Sean Doyle on drums and vocals.

"Red River Entertainment is happy to announce that we've signed The Mojo Gurus," said Bob Frank, Founder of Red River Entertainment, who personally signed the band. "I think they are the best real rock-n-roll band I've heard in years. We're very excited about their new record Who Asked Ya?"

How best to describe Who Asked Ya? It's pure unadulterated rock 'n' roll fun. Featuring the horn driven, funk rocker "Where You Hidin' Your Love" that was produced by Tommy Henricksen (Alice Cooper, Lou Reed), The Mojo Guru's blues based, early sixties rock and roll sound isn't trying to change the world - they just want to rock your world. Their new album is a rock 'n' roll tour de force, barreling out of control down Highway 61 and crashing through your speakers. You think rock 'n' roll is dead? Well, The Mojo Gurus say... Who Asked Ya? The Tampa Bay Times said of the band, "The Mojo Gurus are known for putting on a great live show. The beloved Tampa Bay area quartet plays a feisty mix of rock and roll, punk and blues, fueled by the purr and growl of front man Kevin Steele."

The Mojo Gurus will support the release of Who Asked Ya? with the release of videos for the songs "Where You Hidin' Your Love" and "Bandito" along with a US tour. Dates will be announced soon.
