Wonder Villains' Track Zola Is Available As A Free Download To Mark The Release Of The Album
CAMBRIDGE, UK (Top40 Charts/ Quite Great PR) Wonder Villains are brother and sister Kieran and Eimear Coyle, Cheylene Murphy and Ryan McGroarty.

From Derry, N.Ireland, they make blistering alternative-pop not entirely dissimilar in spirit from that legendary Derry band the Undertones. They smash through two minute pop songs while cranking the distortion on their keyboard sounds.

Their singles have received support nationally on BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, 6 Music, XFM, Absolute Radio and in Ireland on Cool FM, RTE 2fm and Today FM among others.

Radio support also came in the form of a Maida Vale Huw Stephens session and a BBC Radio 1 Introducing play list addition on the band's first single 'Zola' (which will be the lead track for week of album release). 'Blonde' picked up a 'Next Hype' and 'Brand New Sound' on Radio 1, while most recent single 'Marshall' picked up more radio play and saw the band featured on ITV's Saturday morning programme 'Scrambled'. Their track 'Ferrari' is the theme tune for CBBC's Dani's Castle

About the record, the band say - "Rocky is our 12 favourite songs written since we started the band in 2010. We grew up so much while writing this album. Some songs were recorded after school and at weekends, singing about TV characters and footballers. When we left school and moved into a big house together in Belfast called the 'Wonder Villa' we wrote about new experiences like moving away from home and being hungover. Rocky captures a cool time in our lives and we can't wait for you to hear it! Yeoo"

The band have toured with They Might Be Giants, played SXSW & the Great Escape in 2014 and have more dates lined up to support their debut album release.
