Ted Z & The Wranglers Socal Tour To Support EP Release "Like A King"
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Mora/May Agency) Orange Country acclaimed Americana musical collective Ted Z and the Wranglers to tour Southern California to support their upcoming EP release "Like a King". The EP is now available via I-TUNES and other select retail outlets.

Ted Z and the Wranglers unique blend of Americana, folk, country and rock captivates audiences globally. The band's sound is one of the freshest to come out of Orange County in years, showcasing deep Americana rhythms with vibrant indie pop harmonies and textures.

Ted Z and the Wranglers have quickly established a name for themselves in the Southern California music scene playing key venues and festivals such as Make Music Pasadena, OC Fair, LA Fair and many more. Their latest single "Afraid of Dying" has been added to over 50 popular radio stations and online outlets such as Pandora. The band has been consistently rated #1 on ReverbNation.

Their latest EP "Like a King" showcases the band's distinctive sound and has a surreal untamed quality. The EP includes the following songs: "Like a King", "Heaven's Rent", "Virginia", and "Tomorrow". The second track "Heaven's Rent" describes an interesting scenario of God moving in as a roommate with music reminiscent of early country legends Johnny Cash and Hank Williams. The standout track "Virginia" is a yearning love song at its most perfect with layered vocals and twangy guitar riffs. The final track "Tomorrow" is a folk anthem featuring whisper like vocals evocative of the frontier.

The concept of the band came to Ted Zakka (lead singer, guitarist, former bassist of Handsome G) in a burst of songwriting during a break from his former band. Ted called upon old friends Mike Layton (guitar, harmonica) and Professor Dan Mages (bass), and enlisted Mike Myers (drums, harmony vocals) to complete the new group. Layton now shares lead guitar duties for The Wranglers with the multi-talented musician and music teacher Rob Torres and the newest addition, Guitar Center blues competition titleholder Jackson Leverone. Together, these players meld Southwestern romanticism, cultural awareness, and rollicking good times to get audiences dancing and leave them hungry for more.
