Baltimore, MD (Top40 Charts/ Revival Recording) Progressive rock band Megosh have an interesting plan for this summer. They will embark on the "Crash Your Couch Tour" with The Dear Hunter...sort of. The unique concept involves Megosh following The Dear Hunter's tour around the East coast and Midwest, where they will perform for fans as they wait in line. Rumor has it there will be some extra surprises, as well.
After the show(s), Megosh will perform intimate acoustic sets in the homes of fans. Playing two shows a day for an entire self-booked tour might make them the hardest working band in show business, or at least the most intrepid.
"As an agent-less band, tours can be pretty hard to come across," says the band. "Megosh is far from passive and we were beginning to get antsy; you might even say depressed. We wanted the road. We wanted the faces. Since we really wanted to engage our fans on a more intimate level we devised this plan to let our fans book us. So we crash their houses, apartments and duplexes while fulfilling our touring needs and providing a unique experience for the fan/host."

ABOUT MEGOSH
Forged from the bone-metal of ancient dragons, Megosh rises, and the gods tremble...
Baltimore's Megosh has been toiling behind the scenes for some time brewing up a catalog of high-energy intelligent rock. Their music is melodic with post-progressive elements and frequent forays into the territory of alternative metal, but they manage to maintain an overriding pop sensibility. Megosh somehow fuses these eclectic ingredients into a surprisingly cohesive stew, a sound that is clearly their own. Impressively complex instrumental material will certainly appeal to the musician but, with Megosh, song-craft still reigns, highlighted by their creative use of rhythm and catchy melodies which are certain to captivate a wide audience. On top of all this, the front line serves up tasty three-part harmonies- something rarely heard on today's rock scene.
Megosh recently inked a deal with North Carolina based Revival Recordings and released their debut EP entitled "Body Works" on April 1, 2014. The band will be touring across the US in March/April 2014 with Alesana and Get Scared on The Decade Tour, including a stop on the prestigious South By South West music festival in Austin, Texas.
