New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ BE Music & Entertainment) Long-time SESAC writer Regie Hamm has signed a publishing deal with BE
Music & Entertainment for representation.
The new publishing partnership comes on the heels of several projects for the prolific songwriter/artist/author. Hamm's song, "Bring The Family," is included on the current
Rascal Flatts project, Rewind, which released in May. Also In May, Hamm released his own critically-acclaimed project, Near Misses, a collection of songs comprised of tunes that originally were turned down by other artists. Hamm also has a song in the upcoming film, Coffee Shop, as well as a film deal in the works based on his highly-praised book, "Angels and Idols." Hamm also has announced the release of a new podcast, "Regie and the Mod Cast," which will air weekly on iTunes.
A multi-faceted talent, Hamm has written more than 20 No. 1 songs during his career, including topping the charts for four months with "Time Of My Life." Hamm's song, which won top honors on American Idol's Songwriting Content in 2008, was released as the first single from American Idol Season 7 winner
David Cook. In addition to Hamm's numerous hit songs, the singer/songwriter has been named SESAC's Songwriter of the Year four times.
