Megosh Will Premiere Their Music Video For "Body Works" On July 24, 2014
Baltimore, MD (Top40 Charts/ Revival Recordings) Progressive indie rock band Megosh will be premiering the official music video for their song "Body Works" via ARTISTdirect on 7/24. The song is off their new EP of the same name that was released via Revival Recordings and is available on iTunes. The video was directed by Justin Reich and the song (and whole EP) was produced by Shawn Milke guitarist/vocalist for Alesana and owner of Revival Recordings.

"I would love to just sum up the meaning of the song by saying it's about promiscuous sex, however there's more to it than that!" says vocalist/guitarist Josh Grosscup. "We've all had someone from our past who strayed from the moral path and might have even dragged us down a little with them. In this case, the girl in this story takes advantage of a less promiscuous partner. The song showcases the hesitance and guilt that follows."

Megosh are currently on the "Crash Your Couch Tour" with The Dear Hunter...sort of. The unique concept involves Megosh following The Dear Hunter's tour around the East coast and Midwest, where they will perform for fans as they wait in line. Rumor has it there will be some extra surprises, as well. After the show(s), Megosh will perform intimate acoustic sets in the homes of fans.

ABOUT MEGOSH
Forged from the bone-metal of ancient dragons, Megosh rises, and the gods tremble...

Baltimore's Megosh has been toiling behind the scenes for some time brewing up a catalog of high-energy intelligent rock. Their music is melodic with post-progressive elements and frequent forays into the territory of alternative metal, but they manage to maintain an overriding pop sensibility. Megosh somehow fuses these eclectic ingredients into a surprisingly cohesive stew, a sound that is clearly their own. Impressively complex instrumental material will certainly appeal to the musician but, with Megosh, song-craft still reigns, highlighted by their creative use of rhythm and catchy melodies which are certain to captivate a wide audience. On top of all this, the front line serves up tasty three-part harmonies- something rarely heard on today's rock scene.

Megosh recently inked a deal with North Carolina based Revival Recordings and released their debut EP entitled "Body Works" on April 1, 2014. The band will be touring across the US in March/April 2014 with Alesana and Get Scared on The Decade Tour, including a stop on the prestigious South By South West music festival in Austin, Texas.
