Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Sunshine Sachs) Trace Adkins and his Sarepta Gentlemen's Club band will bring the big man's biggest hits to the Fox &
Friends Summer Concert stage on Friday (8/1). The hour-long concert is open to the public and will showcase the hitmaker's long list of smash singles on-air and online, with a feature performance of "Girl In Texas," which he wrote twenty years ago upon arriving in Nashville. On Saturday (8/2), Trace travels to Boston's Fenway Park to perform the national anthem opening the Red Sox v. Yankees, the second of a three-game series, which will be broadcast nationally on FOX. A proud supporter of our country's armed forces, Adkins previously performed the anthem at Fenway in July 2012 and in St. Louis, MO in 2011 for Game 2 of the World Series.
Adkins has also added vocal duo Jill & Kate to his touring band. Since June when he returned to the road, Trace's super-charged shows have electrified audiences and now he's upped the ante again.
"Having the girls on the road has really given a new kind of energy to the performances. Plus, with the addition of these soulful voices, the Sarepta Gentlemen's Club may just have a shot at salvation after all," joked Trace.
