Grammy Nominated Artist Seth Glier Renews Deal With MPress Records
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ MPress Records) Grammy nominated singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Seth Glier has re-signed to a multi-album deal with NYC-based independent label, MPress Records. Glier, who signed with management firm Invasion Group just last year, heads out on the road again with American Idol finalist Crystal Bowersox this August in the Northeast.

MPress Records releases albums by Independent Music Award Winners Rachael Sage, Seth Glier and Melissa Ferrick, and also produces the New Arrivals charity compilation and hosts showcases at such industry events as SXSW, CMJ and Midem. MPress has also just welcomed A Fragile Tomorrow to its roster, and is delighted to be continuing its relationship with Glier.

Founder and label owner Rachael Sage enthuses "From his God-given talent, to his natural empathy and charitable tendencies, working with Seth has literally been a dream come true. We are so thrilled that he will be continuing to work with MPress! It has been an honor to help bring his incredibly rich catalog into the marketplace, and I know his next album is going to simply blow everyone away."

Glier, who has released three albums with the label - including 2011's Grammy® nominated The Next Right Thing and 2013's critically acclaimed Things I Should Let You Know - is currently finishing up new songs and will head into the studio this Fall with producer Bill Lefler (Ingrid Michaelson, Dashboard Confessional). Before then, he will be hitting the road with American Idol's Crystal Bowersox for a handful of dates in the Northeast, and performing some of the new songs that will appear on his next MPress release in 2015.

More about Seth Glier:
Massachusetts based singer, songwriter, pianist, guitarist Seth Glier is a seasoned troubadour. Averaging over 250+ live performances annually, Seth has gone from opening act to headlining his own shows and playing major folk festivals. He's shared the stage with artists as diverse as James Taylor, Ani DiFranco, Martin Sexton, Emmylou Harris and Ryan Adams and has quickly become known for his passionate live sets. Airplay for his Grammy® Nominated album "The Next Right Thing" included a #1 chart position on Clear Channel's NEW! DISCOVER & UNCOVER Program.

Seth has become increasingly comfortable expressing his social beliefs, both onstage and off. In 2012 he took home Best Social Action Song for his track "The Next Right Thing" at the 11th Annual Independent Music Awards, his second IMA win. Last year Seth joined forces with ChildFund International as an artist partner, and since has helped over 100 children find sponsors. Seth believes strongly in using his voice to help shine a light; in the past he has worked with numerous organizations including ROCK THE VOTE, Autism Speaks, Musicians On Call, Feeding America and Coats For Kids.

Seth's third album on MPress Records, "Things I Should Let You Know", is steeped in all the most gorgeous aspects of Americana, folk, blues, pop and soul. USA Today stated that his "exquisite tenor echoes Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel" and featured the track "Man I Used To Be" as their "Song of the Week".
