CBGB Announces 3rd Annual CBGB Music & Film Festival The Ground-Breaking Music & Film Festival Will Return To New York City For Five Days Of Events From October 8-12th, 2014
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / CBGB) The five-day annual event will take place in theaters, clubs, galleries, private spaces, roof tops & hotels throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn; from Williamsburg to Times Square. Center 548, the 35,000 sq. ft. converted warehouse, located on East 22nd street, will serve as the central hub for the entire festival which will include the CBGB Icon Awards, music themed art exhibitions, concerts, comedy performances and much more.

"We continue to support emerging and established talent who represent music & film in all their forms. For us, music transcends space and sharing it with fans in a unique form is something we are very passionate about," said Tim Hayes, CBGB Co-Owner.

True to the Club's roots, the CBGB Music Festival will feature emerging and established artists covering a variety of genres. As in the past, the festival will partner with numerous venues presenting live performances throughout New York City including showcases at Center 548. Last year's festival included performances from My Morning Jacket, James Murphy, Puss N Boots feat. Norah Jones, The Wallflowers, Ice-T and Divine Fits.

The CBGB Film Festival, one of the largest in the country and the only to feature music-focused films, will showcase a myriad of cinema including scripted narratives, documentaries, concert films, shorts and other cutting edge stories. Last year, CBGB premiered over 50 music-based movies including the New York premiere of the Academy Award Winning Film, 20 Feet from Stardom.

The CBGB Festival schedule including performers, speakers and films will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event. For more information and live updates please visit www.cbgb.com and follow CBGB OMFUG Facebook Page or Twitter @cbgbandomfug
