BELFAST, UK (www.patrickmckeown.com) - A brilliant new talent hailing from Belfast, N.Ireland has released a three track EP entitled, "Passing By". The EP, released at the beginning of August, demonstrates the singer/songwriter's dynamic vocal abilities and songwriting skills beautifully. Two of the three songs are played by a full band consisting of vocals, guitar, bass, violin, tenor sax and drums, the third is a solo performance. Each offers something different however. Some have likened his style to that of Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and Dave Matthews but although there do appear to be some similarities his music certainly evinces much more than the sum of its parts. Paddy has been active as an independent singer/songwriter for around three years now. He has performed in and around the Devon (U.K.) area as well as in his native Northern Ireland, usually solo but at times with other musicians gathered together for specific performances. Paddy also spent a month in NYC last year absorbing the city's unique vitality and performed in various venues including CBs 313 Gallery, The Blah Blah Lounge, The Pioneer and The Sidewalk Cafe. "Passing By" is available to buy directly from Paddy's website (www.patrickmckeown.com) or through CDBaby (www.cdbaby.com/pmckeown) - well worth checking out! https://www.patrickmckeown.com Listen here: https://www.patrickmckeown.com/audio_videopage.html
