September 27, 2014 the TanZ Group will present the inaugural Rockathon
Music + Tech hackathon, hosted by Cleveland's startup incubator LaunchHouse and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The competition invites regionally based programmers and entrepreneurs to develop an interactive tech application that will provide an innovative platform for musicians and their fans. The grand prize will include a startup package to help the winning team develop the next big music company in Ohio.

A panel of music industry experts, including, but not limited to, Greg Harris, the President & CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Warner Bros. Recording Artist, Neon Hitch, will judge participants' entries. The competition will take place in partnership with the 10th annual Ingenuity Cleveland festival, and will close with an evening celebration at the festival's lakeside Warehouse venue. Performances at the event will include DJ Pop Drop, Rex Riot, Two Bad DJs, and The Jane Doze.
The inaugural Rockathon at the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame is part of TanZ's overall RE:CLE program developed to resurface, rebuild and revitalize Cleveland's growing art and music communities. RE:CLE spotlights, showcases, and supports individuals dedicated to regional development and provides a platform to connect locally-based entrepreneurs with nationally-respected industry leaders. This initial program will also host interactive arts installations and evening music performances in partnership with Ingenuity Cleveland at the festival's lakeside Warehouse location.
