Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes Presents AV The Great's Mixtape "Man N Da City 2"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes announce the release of AV The Great's Mixtape "Man N Da City 2". The 18 track project is currently available for download. The mixtape features appearances from Brooklyn, J. Flame, T.C., Buk Baby, and Tom Jonez. Production for the mixtape is credited to Casso Beats, All Arounda Productions, Izzy The Kidd, and more.

In recent years, a distinct new hip hop sound has emerged North of Dallas/Fort Worth from the streets of Southeast Denton. The beats are so good, in fact, that people from around the city are beginning to listen. The man leading the charge is Chris Avant, better known as rapper "AV the Great." AV stemming from his last name AV and "The Great" from being raised on Alexander street. He is also known as Man-N-Da City, a title that represents his continuous involvement in the community for issues such as education, teen violence, and voter registration. From 2008-2010 he created the local TV show "The PR Report," the "PR" stands for politics and rhymes.

AV brings a unique perspective to the city, having grown up in Southeast Denton, a community often isolated from the tree-lined suburbs and bustling streets of much of the rest of the city. The hip-hop artist works at K104FM (#1 Hip & R&B station in Dallas, Texas) under the moniker Chris Cole. He is always on the lookout for ways to keep the local music scene in the spotlight with his "Raw & Underground" concert and battle series, as well as being a booking agent for The Thin Line Film & Music Festival.
