NEW YORK (Sanctuary Records) - Buddahead, the band renowned for the emotional songwriting and energetic, innovative guitar work of lead singer Raman Kia, announced today plans for a fall tour in support of their groundbreaking debut album, Crossing The Invisible Line. The dates come just weeks after Buddahead wrapped a highly successful summer tour opening for Everlast. Kia volunteers as a music mentor with Musicians On Call, mentoring several students in music and musicianship and also going out to public schools and playing with and for music classes. War Child is a charitable organization that concentrates on the aid and care for children orphaned or injured in war-torn areas. High profile recording artists attached to this cause include: Coldplay, Sheryl Crow, Paul McCartney, Brian Adams, and Celine Dion, some of whom will be participating in an upcoming tribute/benefit CD produced by Bob Rock - Buddahead will be included in this compilation. Buddahead will be setting up a newsletter and e-mail sign up sheet at each one of the gigs and Kia will take time out of the set to inform the audience about both Musicians On Call and War Child.
