ATLANTA, GA. (O.G.P.R.) - With two ASCAP Awards already under their belt, and a Radio Music Award nomination before them, Atlanta group Youngbloodz (La Face/Zomba Label Group) had much to celebrate at this weekends Source Awards; taking home the 'Single of the Year ~ Collaboration' award for their song 'Damn.'

The song was the first single from Youngbloodz's second album, 'Drankin Patnas' and has garnered over 180,000 spins at radio in the year since its release. Other singles from that album included 'Lean Low' which was featured in the WB feature film 'Torque', the directorial debut of music video Director Joseph Kahn, who also directed the song's video.

2005 should prove to be an equally exciting year for the group; new label, new album and the launch of their own record label YBZ Records, Inc. Expect the 'as yet untitled' album to drop in the first quarter with tracks from some of rap's hottest like Jazze Pha, Sha Money, Kwame and of course Lil Jon, with expected features to include the likes of Snoop Dogg, Youngbuck, TI, Fabulous and Juvenile. The guys hope to be servicing their first single from that album later this year.
