Aidan Coogan of Wounds comments, "We are very excited and fucking honored to be a part of a great label and roster. Looking forward to working with Razor & Tie and getting our music out there."

Razor & Tie A&R Executive Mike Gitter adds, "Wounds are bigger, brasher and ballsier than a mere punk rock band. Think the Undertones on angel dust or Black Flag on a Bad Seeds bender. Add to that a riveting presence that erupts from front man Aidan Coogan: you can't take your eyes off him. So good it fucking hurts."

Dublin based Wounds have released one EP Dead Dead Fucking Dead to rave reviews and have showcased their blistering live shows for the last few years all over the world. The band began work on their debut full length album, but was cut short when guitarist James Coogan fell from a four story balcony. He was on life support for three months with a number of months in intensive care & recovery. Loosing full sight in one eye and going through reconstructive surgery, James proved the doctors wrong who said he would never pick up a guitar again. After heartache and dark times, they finished what they had started and completed their debut album with lyrics inspired by the events that shaped the band into what they are today. The band has toured with Billy Talent, Cancer Bats, Enter Shikari, Bring Me The Horizon and has had notable slots at festivals such as The Great Escape, Slam Dunk Festival, SXSW and Download Festival. Wounds are Craig McCann, and brothers Aidan & James Coogan. The band is managed by Andrew Kelly at Its For Friends and represented for touring by Justin Hirschman at Artist Group International.
