LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ ER:M+M) Just a few months after having returned to the stage after being away for almost a decade, LA LEY is finally coming to the U.S. to start their international tour titled RETOUR that covers 17 cities throughout the U.S. with confirmed shows, starting in Fresno, on October 12, and ending in Miami, on November 21.
During 6 weeks, the Chilean group will be focusing on meeting again with their fans in this country that have last seen them over 11 years ago. The group will perform their greatest hits as well as other great and unforgettable songs that make up their repertoire, many of which have become anthems for more than one generation.
Beto Cuevas, Mauricio Clavería and Pedro Frugone, are undoubtedly one of Latin America's most solid and significant pillars, having influenced tens of other groups with their style, songwriting and performance and thereby becoming icons of the so-called "rock en español" movement of the 90's.
With 7 studio-recorded albums, a live record (MTV Unplugged) and over ten greatest hits albums, LA LEY have left their mark in the history of Latin rock. They are the only Chilean group to have won 3 Grammys so far, besides other multiple awards and international distinctions.
Over the group's 15 years of existence, LA LEY have gone through different stages in terms of their style as well as different moments in which their members were able to "pull in the ship", in good times as well as bad times, referring to their journey they embarked on in Chile at the end of the 80's, until their conquest of the whole continent, with Mexico's support and finally their victory in the United States.
The RETOUR tour encompasses all those musical memories that are awaiting unforgettable moments and a new chapter in the group's career that began less than a year ago with their official comeback at the International Viña del Mar Festival. That was a defining momento that happened naturally for the group in order to continue with their musical legacy.
