San Fermin To Preview Songs From New LP On North American Tour With Courtney Barnett, Starting Oct 12
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Brooklyn's San Fermin - the eight-piece ensemble led by songwriter/composer Ellis Ludwig-Leone - are currently putting the finishing touches on a new album to be released in 2015. They'll preview some new songs from the album on their co-headlining North American tour with Courtney Barnett, which kicks off October 12 with a performance on Mountain Stage in Charleston, WV, and includes shows at NYC's Webster Hall (10/22), LA's El Rey (11/4), and Austin's Fun Fun Fun Fest (11/8). The group has previously performed with St. Vincent, The National, and The Head and the Heart, among many others.

Today Brightest Young Things premiered an exclusive trailer for the upcoming shows. Watch here.

NPR described San Fermin's 2013 debut album as "jarringly accomplished," and "one of the year's most surprising, ambitious, evocative and moving records." Pitchfork hailed the album's lead single "Sonsick" calling it "deliriously infectious."

Since the release of 'San Fermin,' Ludwig-Leone composed the music for Ballet Collective's upcoming ballets "All That We See" and "Dear and Blackbirds." Both premiere October 29 at NYU's Skirball Center.
