Hall Of Fame Songwriter Takes Home The Pioneer Award
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Music has changed throughout time but one mark in music has branded the sound created by Milliea Taylor McKinney. Her sound and her style is recognized by those whom she has worked with leaving her signature on the bluegrass/country sound millions have enjoyed over the years.

McKinney whose contributions have extended throughout country music and abroad has always took her flight as a ghostwriter for the legends who walked away with the prize of a great award winning song. McKinney, chose her private family life over the fame. When asked, why? she simply replied; 'can't put a price on family and lets face it the drama of the media in the industry of entertainment can be brutal'.

McKinney, who received recognition this year with the Pioneer Award, for outstanding musical contributions and achievements the award given by the National Songwriters Commission at the Hall Of Fame In Nashville TN.

Milliea, who did not attend the services was quoted as to say she was honored and appreciated the award giving her God all the recognition for everything he has done in her life including the cure of cancer in which she has battled for 3 years now.
