Vance Joy Joins Taylor Swift's "The 1989 World Tour"!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Atlantic recording artist Vance Joy will make two major television appearances this week, following last week's announcement that he will join Taylor Swift on "The 1989 World Tour."

Recently named as VH1's "You Oughta Know" artist for the month of September, Vance Joy will perform at "VH1 You Oughta Know Live In Concert," on Thursday, November 13th, followed by an appearance on "Today" as Elvis Duran's "Artist of the Month" in the 10 AM hour on Friday, November 14th.

The appearances come on the heels of Taylor Swift's announcement of Vance Joy as direct support on the North American dates of "The 1989 World Tour," beginning May 20, 2015 in Bossier City, LA, and then continuing through the fall (see itinerary below).

Vance Joy, who is featured in the current issue of Entertainment Weekly, is in the midst of a sold-out North American headline tour through the end of November. He'll then follow the run with radio show appearances around the U.S. in December.

After spending 5 weeks in the #1 spot at alternative radio, "Riptide," from Vance Joy's debut album Dream Your Life Away is now making its way up the Billboard Hot 100. A 5x-platinum certified, top 10 smash in his native Australia, the track is certified 2x platinum in Sweden; platinum in Canada and Norway; gold in Austria, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom and here in the U.S. "Mess Is Mine," the second single from the album, is currently ascending Alternative and Triple A outlets nationwide.
