"The Business Of Music Seminars" Debut On November 13, 2014
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) A new series, "The Business of Music Seminars" (BMS) aims to make it easier for producers, engineers, artists, and entrepreneurs to know what's happening now - and what's coming next.

BMS will debut Thursday, November 13th at Guitar Center in Union Square, NYC. FREE to attend, the maiden voyage will feature a lineup of industry heavy hitters that includes Steve Gordon (Sony Music, SESAC), Sidney "Omen" Brown (Beyonce, Drake, Lil' Wayne), "Bassy" Bob Brockman (Notorious BIG, Christina Aguilera, Keith Harrison (ASCAP), Keith Shocklee (Public Enemy, Bomb Squad), Alus (All Def Digital Artist), and Barry Heyman (Heyman Law, IAR).

Created by partners Bob Brockmann, Reghu Rn, Joe Adams, Jerrell Battle and David Velarde, BMS was founded with the mission of standing out from other seminars. "The key of the success of BMS will be the strength of the panelists and its emphasis on progressive thinking in music," Brockman says. "We aim to feature breaking cutting edge artists and maverick producers as well as movers and shakers from publishing and streaming companies such as Spotify and ASCAP.

"The music business in any country, is a quicksand for the uninitiated," he continues. "We created BMS to empower the young music makers — provide them with hard facts about all aspects of the music business so that they can give their content and their careers the best fighting chance possible. BMS will cover all aspects of the music business such as production, distribution, marketing, publishing, technology, ethics and legal issues. The goal is to engage, grow and support our community through social media while providing current knowledge and networking opportunities."

In addition, BMS features a strong networking element: The audience will have time allocated after the panel discussion to meet and meet and have one to one conversations with the panelists.
