Tim Sweeney Releases Music Video For "Baby I Try For You"
NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts) Country Music is exploding in the US, and charting on country music radio charts is becoming more and more challenging. Almost 70% of the top 80 spots on the Nashville Music Row Country Breakout Chart are occupied by major label acts.

Tim Sweeney, a country music newcomer, achieved laudable success over the past year in his unlikely journey toward county music stardom - the first three singles released from his debut album, This Time, all hit the Country Breakout Chart and he was named by the Country Music Association ("CMA") as "Who to Watch 2014" artist.

Sweeney' son was born with Down Syndrome and soon developed autism. To help him sleep, Sweeney penned several songs to sing to him. Sweeney's first release, "Baby I Try For You" supported by a unique music video spent months on radio, hitting #43 on the Country Breakout Chart. His follow-up single, "Somebody to Love" also broke the top 45 on the Chart. His third single, "Every Friday Night" has already hit #67 after only 4 weeks.

Sweeney credits his son for his budding country music career. "I always loved music and singing, but my son really deserves all the credit. His inspiration and love of music brought this success. In a lot of ways, this is his success."

Sweeney also credits country music radio, "I really have to thank Country Music Radio and especially the Music Row stations for their support of my music," commented Sweeney. "It's been such a fun and humbling experience."

Sweeney plans on expanding his success with his upcoming second album, which is being produced by renown independent country music producer Kim Copeland, and due to be released some time early next year.

"Because of his success, Tim got the opportunity to work with some of Nashville's most acclaimed songwriters on his new album. It's such an awesome, fun album; each song could be a radio hit, added Ellen Gaule of Oil House Records. Gaule also leaked the name of the new album - "No Brakes" which reflects Sweeney's theme of never giving up on yourself or what you want to do with your life.
