John Robb Announces Two London Shows On Iconic Denmark Street
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) John Robb hits London with a special weekender of Christmas shows to celebrate Denmark Street and the iconic 12 Bar Club.

Dec 19: Goldblade / TV Smith / Eastfield

The Goldblade launch party for their acoustic album released January 2015, combining acoustic workouts with North African music and off the wall instrumentation. This gig will see them playing their best known songs, and as anybody who has witnessed a Goldblade acoustic show will know, they are legendary on the scene. This year's Rebellion Festival saw them take 300 audience members on a Pied Piper style march around the Winter Gardens using just one acoustic guitar, a cardboard box and John's vocals - stripped down in the real sense of the term. Their 19th December gig will see them play acoustic and electric numbers. Support comes from Adverts legend TV Smith and the mighty Eastfield.

Dec 20th The Membranes / Faerground Accidents The November Five / Ministers Dead

John Robb recently reformed his influential post-punk band the Membranes at the request of My Bloody Valentine and then Shellac in order to play a couple of ATP festivals. The gigs went so well that the band have written a double album about the universe, life and death called 'Dark Matter/Dark Energy' which will be released by Cherry Red next spring. The album ranges from classic noise to psych weirdness, drones and neo classical pieces and is shaping up to be the band's most exciting material yet as they prepare to take it to the European festival circuit next summer.
Support comes from Fairground Accidents who have just signed to John Robb's own Louder Than War records and whose debut single is getting plenty of BBC 6 Music play ahead of its release. The November Five are a London based band whose abrasive take on great guitar music caught Robb's ear.
