'Perfect Storm' is the lead single on Fferd Tobing's latest four-track EP named after the lead track. Building on his tempest-themed productions established with his previous release, 'The
Black Thunder', Fferd is now continuing his rise to the top at lightning speed.
'Perfect Storm' is another display of Fferd Tobing's versatility and ability to generate innovative, high quality and forward thinking soundscapes. His latest releases can be soothing and powerful at the same time, and the analogy with a storm stands perfectly. 'Perfect Storm' starts out with a peaceful and melodic section. Fferd Tobing uses a superb guitar-like synth melody, together with an airy synth and an original bass pattern to create a serene atmosphere. However, just like a storm, the track takes a turn and starts its ascension toward a dramatic peak. The single goes through a burst of energy, and transforms into a roof-raiser. Fferd Tobing unleashes his hard grooves and deep synth sounds to create a highly danceable tune, intended to make feet move by the hundreds on dance floors around the world. Born in Surabaya, Indonesia, Ferdinand Tobing, better known as Fferd Tobing started his musical journey in 2012 and has never looked back. During his early years in music he became notorious for his bootleg remixes and unique interpretation of Electro, Trance, House, and Progressive infused music. He has worked on productions for international DJs and producers such as: AVB, Dash Berlin, Tiesto, LTN and Gareth Emery. Moreover, Fferd Tobing played at some of the most prestigious clubs and parties, performing with the likes of: Andrey Rayel, Max Graham, Tom Fall, TYDI, Gregori Klosman, Gareth Emery, Markus Shulz, Jazz Von D, Wezz Devall, and many others.
