Thunder and the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department work closely to ensure the safety of the people attending the festival, along with those who live in the area around the festival site in Twin Lakes, Wis. Country
Thunder Music Festival allocates funding annually for the Sheriff's Department to cover the costs of the onsite personnel. The festival is donating over $3500 in unspent funds to the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department. The money will be used to purchase permanently-mounted desktop computers for the
Mobile Command Center, which is utilized as a command center at events such as Country Thunder.

Thunder to provide our community with as safe an event as possible," said Sheriff
David Beth. "It is very kind of Country
Thunder to make this donation to the Sheriff's Department and is an example of the cooperative agreement we share."

A very limited number of campsites have been released in Miller Camping and are available for $160.
