WILD CULTURE are set to release their latest production, 'The Tide' EP. The Austrian duo have fast become staples of the Kittball imprint since their first release back in 2012. The pair have already gained phenomenal success this year with 'Day To Night', released through Kraftek (a sub-label of Pleasurekraft) hitting No. 12 on the Beatport chart and their remix of 'Gooey' by the Glass Animals, having been picked up by Majestic Casual, receiving over a million views on Youtube.
WILD CULTURE is the new project from Austrian sound experts Florian Fellier and Felix Brunhuber. The duo have excelled in producing smooth melodies, driving beats and developed an affinity for experimentalism and high technical finesse along with remixing the likes of London Grammar, Andy Caldwell, Daughter and more.
WILD CULTURE found a strong home with Kittbull Records in their early days. The label has been releasing House and Tech House tracks since 2005 and is internationally known for productions and DJ-sets from
Tube & Berger and
Juliet Sikora. WILD CULTURE have since gone on to release with Pleasure Kraft label Kraftek, a label driven by seductive, deep, groove heavy, underground techno inspired music, designed to break emerging new talent.
WILD CULTURE's three original EPs titled 'Faith', 'This Moment' and 'Fade', hit the Beatport Top 10 chart, topped the German Club Charts and played their way into the hearts of the International
Radio DJ's and Producers around the globe. The twosome have also been tapped to remix label founders Tube & Berger's seminal hit 'Lovebreak', not to mention having their own work remixed earlier this year by the likes of Nico Pusch,
David Jach and Purple
Disco Machine.
Kick-starting their fourth original release on Kittball; dark and brooding, the beefy first track of the release titled 'The TIDE' takes no prisoners as it lays down a mean and throbbing low end, albeit the Austrian duo still incorporate a heavy dosage of funk courtesy of plucky guitar work and jittery keys. 'With YOU' boasts rumbling kicks, heady vocals and subterranean synths that collectively form a multi-layered and enriching number topped with mind-bending atmospherics that ebb hypnotically throughout.
