Caseco Unveils World's Smallest Universal Smartphone Mount
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Canadian-based mobile accessory design firm, Caseco, has released the Core 360°, a rotatable mount that holds the user's device onto any flat surface, and features a magnet for easy detachment.

The Core 360° is smaller than a golf ball; in fact, at 2.5 centimetres in height, it is closer in size to a USB memory stick. The Core 360° itself is made from high-quality anodized aluminum alloy, and it uses a powerful permanent magnet to attach to or detach from the user's device. A 3M adhesive holds a metal ring onto the back of the user's device, and another adhesive holds the Core 360° onto any flat surface, for example, a car dashboard. The rotating torque design allows users to choose any viewing angle.

Caseco's CEO, Jay Rahman states: "We believe design is everything. Unfortunately, a lot of smartphone mounts today are too big and clunky, gobbling up a lot of space in compact areas. We knew that we could design something better. So we did and made something world class, and of course smaller, while delivering the same functionality for our loyal fans."

The magnet won't damage devices either; today's smartphones, GPS units, and the like are designed to withstand strong magnetic fields and can even measure magnetic fields to enhance navigation and provide interesting functionality. Since the magnet is strong, however, it may be advisable to keep the Core 360° away from objects sensitive to magnetic fields, such as bank cards and laptop computers.

The Core 360 will hold any device up to 1.3 lbs, and is popular among drivers and people who want to keep their smartphones nearby — an advantage for users who like to work with their hands while staying connected.

Removing the mount is also easy. Using a knife, the adhesive can be preserved for re-application onto another flat surface, or another device. Any residues left behind can be removed with ordinary cooking oil.

Caseco will be showcasing the Core 360° at CES 2015 this January at Tech West, Sands Expo, Level 2, Booth #74718. The Core 360° on https://www.caseco.ca for CAD $44.99, with free shipping across North America and a 30-day money back guarantee.
