New York, NY (Top40 Charts) JSE Events and Calbeck Investments Announce WTFest Music Festival Featuring Hedley, Big Wreck, The Trews, LIGHTS, USS and I Mother Earth On June 13th and 14th in Brantford

JSE Events and Calbeck Investments Inc. are proud to present the WTFest Music Festival (What The Fest), a two-day outdoor music festival in Brantford, Ontario on June 13th & 14th, 2015 at Lions Park. The festival will feature an eclectic bill of talent from a variety of different music styles. The Saturday June 13th line-up will be headlined by Big Wreck and feature The Trews, I Mother Earth, Peeler, The Mohrs, Sons of Revelry, Gloryhound and Ghost Town Orchestra. The Sunday June 14th show will be headlined by Canadian superstars Hedley, along with Lights, USS, Dear Rouge, The Ascot Royals, Harbour, Steven Ryan and Mark Wilson and the Way It Is. Weekend passes which include access to both shows will be $59.99 and will be the first to go on sale. Individual day passes are $39.99 for Saturday and $49.99 for Sunday and will be on sale in early February. WTFest is also launching a battle of the bands and will award the winner an opening slot on the festival. The winner will also receive a grand prize package which consists of $1,000 cash, a meeting with industry professionals at one of Canada's top booking agencies, a professional photo-shoot by Photohouse Studio as well as a EPK designed by Fat Panda Studios. Hedley has continued along their path to pop music supremacy with the release of "Wild Life" (November 2013), which has since shot straight to platinum selling status and boasts multiple Top 5 radio hits ("Anything", "Crazy For You", "Heaven in Our Headlights"). With four consecutive multiplatinum albums prior - Hedley (2005), "Famous Last Words" (2007), "The Show Must Go" (2009), "Storms" (2011) - and over a million albums sold, the band is showing no sign of slowing down. For a band that planted their roots nearly 20 years ago, Big Wreck has arrived at that place where all the pieces fit. The group's new album "Ghosts" debuted at #5 on the Top 200 SoundScan chart in Canada, and their single for the track "Albatross," also Page 1 of 2Page 2 of 2made Big Wreck the first Canadian band to hit #1 on the Canadian rock radio chart in over a year, a position they maintained for six weeks.

WTFest is the brainchild of Jamie Stephens from JSE Events and Lance and Mark from Calbeck Investments Inc. Stephens is best known for hosting the annual Brantford Comedy Festival where he's successfully brought mainstream comedians like Tom Green, Stephen Wright, Pauly Shore, and Colin Mochrie to town. In addition Stephens also is the promoter of the Grandelicious Food & Wine Show, and his own comedy series "Those Damn Divas", which celebrates women in comedy.

Lance Calbeck was born and raised in Brantford and has continuously worked hard to make the community a better place to live. He has volunteered his time with many charitable organizations and has helped run many successful events such as the Rotary Lobsterfest and the Rotary Charity Airshow, as well as dozens of other fundraisers for Brant Waterways Foundation, Brant Animal Aid Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club of Brantford to name a few. Lance has a passion for music and is eager to use his expertise to make WTFest one of the premier music festivals in Ontario.

Mark Calbeck is the co-owner of Calbeck Investments Inc., a private investment company located in Brantford. Mark got his start in the family grocery business before moving into the auto industry for a number of years. He is married with two children and currently resides in Paris, ON.
