Dance Outfit Clean Bandit Unveils Marathon North American Tour Schedule Including SXSW, Ultra, Coachella & Governors Ball
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) UK-based electronic group Clean Bandit announce major North American tour - whose worldwide #1 smash single, "Rather Be (Feat. Jess Glynne)," is a "Best Dance Recording" nominee for the upcoming 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards - hitting both headline dates as well as eagerly awaited appearances at some of 2015's biggest festivals, with highlights including Austin's South by Southwest (March 19th-21st), Miami's Ultra Music Festival (March 28th), Indio, California's Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival (April 11th and 18th), and New York City's Governors Ball NYC Music Festival (June 6th) - see full itinerary below.

Clean Bandit - who have also just received a pair of prestigious BRIT Awards 2015 nominations, including "British Group" and "British Single" (for "Rather Be") -- will celebrate the upcoming tour with a new EP collecting remixes of their acclaimed new single, "Real Love (Feat. Jess Glynne)." The "REAL LOVE" REMIX EP will be available at Beatport on Monday, January 26th which includes the "Real Love (The Chainsmokers Remix)" premiering exclusively at Teen Vogue. The Remix EP will be available at all other digital retailers on Tuesday, February 10th.

Named by iTunes as the "Best Dance Album" of 2014, "NEW EYES" made stellar chart debuts upon its original release last year, landing in the top 3 on both the UK Albums Chart and on the US iTunes Store's "Top Dance Albums" tally. The album -- highlighted by such stellar singles as "A+E," "Mozart's House," "Dust Clears," "Come Over," and "Extraordinary (Feat. Sharna Bass)" -- sees Clean Bandit pushing the creative envelope with their distinctively baroque sonic approach, accompanied by an assortment of new vocal talents, including Stylo G, Javeon, Rae Morris, Eliza Shaddad, Love Ssega (Crystal Fighters), and alternative hip-hop sensation Lizzo.

"Rather Be (Feat. Jess Glynne)" debuted atop the UK Singles Chart upon its initial 2014 release, going on to spend four consecutive weeks at #1 -- the first single by a British artist to hold the position that long since Adele's 2011 blockbuster "Someone Like You." The track -- which shattered a variety of long held records, including the most one-week plays ever at Spotify and the most one-week Shazams at Shazam.com -- has since entered the record books as the longest running #1 in the history of the UK's Official Streaming Chart, dominating the top spot for eight straight weeks and counting. The track's unprecedented success bests previous record holders, each boasting seven weeks at #1, including Avicii's "Wake Me Up," Bastille's "Pompeii," and Daft Punk's "Get Lucky (Feat. Pharrell Williams)."

A Spotify #1 in more than 13 countries, "Rather Be (Feat. Jess Glynne)" is a planetary sensation, earning 2x RIAA platinum for US sales in excess of 2 million while also receiving multiple gold, platinum, and multi-platinum certifications around the world. As if all that weren't enough, the equally undeniable "Rather Be" companion video is now approaching a truly remarkable 209 million individual views at Clean Bandit's official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/cleanbandit.

CLEAN BANDIT PRESS HIGHLIGHTS
"One of the most likable pop singles in years, a fizzy mix of strings, synthpop, and 70's dance music." -- Billboard

"Classical and electronic flourishes have made this British act's dance hit an ear-grabbing listen and a worldwide smash" - -USA Today

"(moving) disco out of its synthetic doldrums and back to its instrumental roots." -- SPIN

"Without a doubt, Clean Bandit have stepped into the forefront of the current house music revival that's coming out of Europe and infiltrating the American airwaves...This British quartet has done so by adding a unique twist to the genre: they blend classical music with their beats. Those beautiful strings you hear on the band's hits like 'Rather Be' and 'Extraordinary' -- yeah, those are real." -- Idolator

"('Rather Be') opens with soaring strings and then shifts into bouncing synths, a driving, pounding beat, and airy vocals... All this culminates in the chorus, in which all of these parts come together to create one of the most infectious hooks in recent memory." -- OUT
