New Video From "Rapture-Inducing" New Waterboys LP (Via Entertainment Weekly)
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Entertainment Weekly has the premiere of the official music video for The Waterboys' "Beautiful Now,"

"Beautiful Now" is one of the standout cuts from The Waterboys' "rapture-inducing" (Telegraph UK) new LP, 'Modern Blues' - out April 7th via Harlequin and Clown/Kobalt. 'Modern Blues' is the bands' first album of original songs in eight years, and was recorded in Nashville with a crack group of musicians including legendary Muscle Shoals bassist David Hood, soul deep Texas guitarist Zach Ernst (Black Joe Lewis, The Relatives), drummer Ralph Salmins (Paul McCartney, Madonna), longtime Waterboys fiddler Steve Wickham, and Memphis keyboardist "Brother" Paul Brown.

'Modern Blues' was released in the UK in January to raves. The Telegraph gave the record 5 stars, declaring, "Scott is the closest thing we have to a Neil Young in British music." In a 4-star review, MOJO said it's "the best Waterboys record since 1988's 'Fisherman's Blues.'"

More music, and info on an extensive US tour coming shortly.
