Independent Record Label MVBEMG Embraces Rockland County NY By Donating To Local Charities

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Indie record label MVBEMG could be called Rockland County, New York's first real record label. It's parent company MVB Entertainment LLC. has been in business since 2005, and its currently the home of one of New York City's hottest up-and-coming female Rappers, La ' Vega.

The label's owner, Abdel "Sosa" Russell, relocated to central Rockland County, NY, in mid 2013, and his family fell in love with the area. He decided to join the Rockland Business Association, and quickly realized that there was an opportunity to bring the operations of MVB Entertainment to Rockland County.

Sosa said his kids love Rockland County. "The school districts are some of the best in the state of New York. And even though my company is not involved with scholastic activities, I'd like to add value to the lives of some of the young people within the community, by focusing on their talents and artistic creativity, giving them additional channels to express themselves."

Sosa also announced that his company started donating to local charities within Rockland County. "A friend of mine inspired me to give more of myself. So, Meals on Wheels became one of the first charities we're donating to, and that list will grow".

At press time MVB Entertainment is looking for office space. They're also looking to hire a small staff of employees, which will consist of social media gurus, graphic artists, booking agents, and more.
