There will be a $10 donation fee to enter "Ribstock" with proceeds benefitting Musicopia. Gently used and new music equipment is also accepted and will be donated to the local school music program.
"We are honored to be a part of this fifth anniversary of Ribstock with the Bridgeport Ribhouse," said
Juliette Hyson, director of individual giving for Musicopia. "This is one of our favorite events, and we are deeply grateful to be able to partner again this year with musicians and music lovers to help provide critical access to music for students and assistance for schools."
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of "Ribstock", two local businesses are sponsoring the event - Rotation Records and axis Construction Management. Rotation Records, located in Norristown, is a full service, state of the art recording studio and live entertainment organization and axis Construction Management, located in Conshohocken, PA, provides construction project management, general contracting, tenant improvement, design/build, and a host of related services to commercial and institutional clients throughout the Philadelphia region and along the East Coast.
"Being a part of Ribstock is sure to be a highlight of our year. Not only do we get to be a part of some of the best music you can find for miles, but we also get to continue our company's mission to give back to the arts in our local schools and children, said Joe Staiber, CEO and owner of Rotation Records. "We sincerely thank the musicians and staff that are so generously donating their time and exceptional talent for such a great local cause."
For the past four years, all proceeds and musical equipment have been donated to schools within the Bridgeport school district and each year the amount donated is increased significantly.
