Arthur Mountaniol: Kingdom Of Distorted Mirrors
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Arthur Mountaniol's new album "Kingdom of Distorted Mirrors" can be described either as a tribute to the 70's art rock or a revival of those great traditions in rock music today only with a modern twist.

We call it Art Rock, not Progressive Rock, because in this case, the musician used progressive rock elements only for artistic expression, rather than for a straight excercise in Progressive Rock techniques.

This album is compiled of Arthur Mountaniol's old material, some of which he had composed approximately 30 years ago. From 1985 to 1988, he has been perfoming this music with his former Russian legendary avant-garde rock band "The Moon Pierrot" (Лунный Пьеро).

This album has 7 songs and 4 instrumentals. The songs are theatrical and visionary, creating bizarre images and stories filled with a medieval spirit and powered by Mountaniol's ingenious guitar work and diverse vocal styles. The music range in the instrumental pieces is quite extensive as well. For example "Procession of Chimeras" sounds like a serious music piece from some classic ballet. And another instrumental number "The invincible & Victorious" has a definite Italian music roots.

Like a precious wine, this material has been kept in the artist's vaults for roughly three decades and now is coming back to life with its exquisite taste worthy of the most sophisticated connoisseur.

Travel to the Kingdom of Distorted Mirrors where you can meet some fascinating and strange characters such as Dancing Fools, Jester, Naked King, Mad Conductor and The Thrill-Seeker who's looking for enlightenment on the Serpent Street - speaking of which, music video "Serpent Street" has just been accepted to the Queen City Film Festival 2014.

There are 2 bonus tracks on this album as well: Goblins' Train & Wish I Could - these are the new versions of the songs from Arthur Mountaniol's previous albums "Tails of the Cloven Hoof" & "Master of Ecstasy".

Now comes the most incredible part: All music, lyrics, instruments and vocals have been done entirely by only one man - Arthur Mountaniol, including recording, production, music video and album artwork.

This album now is released only as a digital version, but it will also be available on CD as demand for this music rises.
