Lynyrd Skynyrd And The Marshall Tucker Band Will Bring A Night Of Classic Southern Rock To Bethel Woods Center For The Arts On August 14, 2015
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Bethel Woods Center for the Arts has announced the return of Lynyrd Skynyrd to the Pavilion Amphitheater stage on Friday, August 14. The Marshall Tucker Band will also perform, making it a night jam-packed with classic southern rock.

Tickets for the performance go on-sale Saturday, March 21 at 10:00am www.BethelWoodsCenter.org, Ticketmaster or by phone at 1.800.745.3000. Tickets are $47.50; $68.00; $83.00; $103.00 for reserved seating, and $28.00 for general admission lawn. Prices include all service charges and regular shipping fees.

Led by core members Gary Rossington (guitar), Johnny Van Zant (vocals) and Rickey Medlocke (guitar), along with longtime drummer Michael Cartellone, Lynyrd Skynyrd has maintained a tremendous legacy that began over 40 years ago in Jacksonville, Florida. The band's career was halted for a decade after the 1977 plane crash that killed three band members, including Ronnie Van Zant and Steve Gaines, yet they rock on. With a catalog of over 60 albums, sales beyond 30 million worldwide and their beloved classic American rock anthem "Sweet Home Alabama" having over two million downloaded ringtones, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd remain a cultural icon that appeals to all generations.

Years of rigorous tour schedules earned The Marshall Tucker Band the respect of critics and countless dedicated fans. With hit singles like "Heard It In a Love Song," "Fire On The Mountain," "Can't You See," and "Take The Highway," The band earned seven gold and three platinum albums while they were on the Capricorn Records label. During the 90's, the MTB scored four hit singles on Billboard's country chart and one on Billboard's gospel chart.
