NEW YORK (AP) - In response to last week's tragedies, Savage Garden's Darren Hayes calls for a prayer for the world to learn to live in peace, while Duran Duran tells Americans to not be afraid in recent posts to their Web sites. Here are their messages in their entirety:

Savage Garden's Darren Hayes: "I am a proud resident of the U.S.A. and what happened to our country last week devastated us all. I want to convey my deepest sympathies to all of the families and friends of the victims of the terrible tragedy in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. We are all stunned and saddened beyond belief at the loss of lives because of this senseless act of violence. Please say a prayer for our world that we might all heal our wounds and learn to live together in peace. God bless you all."
