New York, NY (Top40 Charts) UNDOK is a set of hardware modules, firmware, APIs and mobile apps which enable a flexible and powerful multi-room experience for connected audio products - including table top and
Internet radios, speakers, integrated audio systems, soundbars and micro-systems.
In the coming weeks, a range of devices based on this technology will be on the market - from brands including Argon, Goodmans, Hama, Peaq, Pinell, Revo, Roberts, Ruark, TechniSat and Tiny Audio. Existing audio devices based on Frontier's Venice 6.5 modules will also receive firmware upgrades to support the UNDOK system.
UNDOK provides multi-room functionality for multiple audio sources:
streaming audio services, such as Spotify Connect
broadcast radio (DAB, DAB+ and FM)
content delivered by Bluetooth, local networks (DLNA compatible), USB mass storage,
Internet radio and auxiliary input.
UNDOK is the only system which provides multi-room functionality for broadcast radio.
UNDOK also supports multi-sound - where the app allows users to play audio from different sources on separate groups of speakers.
All devices using UNDOK are interoperable. The 'Powered by UNDOK' branding helps consumers choose compatible products and create their own personal soundscape.
The UNDOK app (available in iTunes App Store and Google Play) is developed and maintained by Frontier, ensuring that it is always up to date with the latest design and technology trends.
