New York, NY (Top40 Charts) One Left Standing, the debut EP from country-pop artist and BMI songwriter, Chloé Caroline, ranked no. 84 on iTunes among the new country releases. Cam (no. 70),
Darius Rucker (no. 71), the Nasville Cast (no. 89) and more, accompanied her on the list. Chloé released her EP on The Engine 360 via TuneCore on Tuesday, March 31. The album is available on iTunes, Amazon and all the streaming services.
"I never knew what to expect, but I'm so excited that I'm reaching other people with my music," said Chloé. "My songs are very personal, and it's reassuring to see people taking notice." She wrote one of her most popular tracks, "Daddy's Song," as a freshman in her dorm room. "It was my first semester away from home and I missed my family. It's definitely my most personal song."
Chloé has been writing her own music since she was 10 years old, but recently began co-writing with Dixie
Chicks hit-maker, Eric Silver, for the opening credit of the musical "Esperanza Rising" and with Collin Mcloughlin (The Voice) for the feature film "The Great Gilly Hopkins." She is the primary writer on her EP, only co-writing on one track: "Leavin' you Now." She moved to Nashville in 2011 to pursue her passion for songwriting and is a full-time student at Belmont University, while working part-time at
Black River Entertainment.
