Makala Cheung Releases "A Little Deeper"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) A Little Deeper is a departure from previous singles, with its haunting piano, dark lyrics and offbeat rhythm. This is the third release from Makala Cheung's upcoming album Moon, and is an unexpected twist from the Bristol (UK)

Singer/Songwriter/Producer, who is also one of the city's "Happiness Champions".
The half-Chinese Bristol Woman Magazine cover girl's credits include radio play on BBC1Xtra and BBC Introducing in The West, as well as numerous local stations across the globe.

Makala Cheung is a Singer, Songwriter and Producer from Knowle West, Bristol, UK. Known for fusing musical genomes, Makala blends pop and Chinese tones, with an injection of multiple genres from R&B and Soul to Dubstep, Breaks & Bass.

Following a few years in an Urban/Pop duo and going on to feature on local Hip-Hop and Grime tracks, in 2012 Makala began her solo artist endeavor, since releasing 3 EPs and album River. Released for Chinese New Year 2014, River featured in Bristol Live Magazine's 'albums of the month' and tracks featured on stations from BBC 1Xtra and BBC Introducing in the West to Ujima FM and BCFM. Makala Cheung's second album 'Moon' is due for release in late 2015.

Makala's influences include Banks, FKA Twigs, M.I.A, and Aaliyah, to name a few. Makala is a Bristol Woman Magazine cover girl (launch edition) and one of Bristol's first Happiness Champions. Performances include Shambala, Dot to Dot, Redfest, Brisfest, St Paul's Carnival, Keynsham Festival and Bristol Harbourside Festival.
