New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "H8 Society - How an Atomic Fart Saved the World", a dark comedy stacked with 26 indie songs and featuring graphics by world-famous illustrator Bill Sienkiewicz, had its global debut as a featured BitTorrent Bundle on Thursday, May 7th, 2015.
H8 Society is the first interactive digital novel to be featured on BitTorrent Bundle from first-time authors, 2Dans, who published the project. By modifying an ePub file with proprietary audio and social sharing experiences embedded with the songs, 2Dans have joined a passionate community of book content creators focused on unleashing the power of digital devices for a new generation.
2Dans wrote the 374 page novel and selected 26 songs from 4,000 artists, representing 40 countries from the ReverbNation community.
Music plays a central role in the story and each song was selected to enhance specific characters and story events. In order to bring the story visually to life, the authors enlisted Bill Sienkiewicz to create the cover art and illustrations.

Director & illustrator, known globally for his work with DC & Marvel Comics, was attracted to the project after reading the story. "I loved the concept of H8 Society from the very beginning. The language of the medium right now is expanding and this was a chance to jump in and play with something new. You have the higher aspirations of mixing the various media and then a title that was so hysterical from a very young point of view. It's got the whole cannon from highbrow to lowbrow and everything in between and we're cutting through major swatches of ages and interests."
"This is further confirmation that the Bittorrent Bundle platform is the perfect medium for artists and content creators who seek to redefine digital storytelling," Christian Averill, BitTorrent VP Communications & Brand.
David Wilk, founder & CEO of BookTrix, with a 30-year career as a book industry strategist to publishers and authors, remarked, "For a digital book to eclipse 700,000 downloads in less than a week is without precedent. This project confirms that there is a voracious audience for powerfully creative digital storytelling experiences."
The book is formatted in an ePub file that is compatible with either Mac or PC, which then can be transferred to most current iOS and Android mobile devices.
