Icona Pop Return With Summer Smash "Emergency"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Chart-topping Swedish duo Icona Pop made a welcomed return this week with their brand new single "Emergency." The upbeat and infectious dance-floor filler makes the perfect companion to summer and taster of what's to come from the feisty and magnetic duo. The track also features the vocals of long time friend and fellow Swedish pop artist Erik Hassle.

Since hitting the scene in 2012 with their triple platinum hit single "I Love It ft. Charli XCX," Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt have become household names as Icona Pop. The duo have been featured in the hit HBO series "GIRLS," made live appearances on NBC's America's Got Talent, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, ABC's Good Morning America and CBS' Late Show with David Letterman, and have also sold-out tours world-wide since the release of their debut album "This Is... Icona Pop" in 2013.

Recently Icona Pop has been busy in the studio, working on new material and plan to announce live dates soon.

"Emergency" premiered on Pitchfork and Top40-Charts.com, and is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Spotify via Record Company TEN/Big Beat/Atlantic Records.
