New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Back in April, Sam Smith was forced to axe his tour of Australia after suffering a vocal cord haemorrhage that resulted in him having surgery. He has now confirmed a new string of dates for the country, which will take place in November and December.
The 'Lay Me Down' sensation shared the dates via Instagram this evening (June 3) and explained that he is overjoyed at the fact that he can return and perform for his Aussie fans:
"AUSTRALIA. From all the bad news has come some good news!! Not only am I coming back to make up for the cancelled shows but I get to play bloody arenas!!!! So excited to sing for all of you and apologise personally for my bleeding throat xxxx"
The first concert will be held on November 28 at the Perth Arena and he will also visit the Adelaide Entertainment Centre (December 1).
