Al Azar Has Expanded His Original Solo Act Into An Intricate Six-Piece Ensemble To Perform And Tour In Support Of Neuhuman's Album Release "How To Stop Time"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Multi-instrumentalist and producer Al Azar has expanded his original solo act into an intricate six-piece ensemble to perform and tour in support of 's album release, "." With a sound like Gorillaz meets Radiohead, Azar and his group provide a seducing, atypical experience that blends a combination of the contemporary and the avant-garde with electronic rock.

Azar founded NeuHuman in 2008 in order to experiment with his imagination and musicianship. In late 2009, NeuHuman released their self-titled debut, which was largely an electronic trip-hop album that carried the influence of Azar's keyboard experiences throughout the early 2000s. In 2010, Azar fell in love with the guitar and broke ground on a new album with vocalist Steed Corulla. With Steed's wide range and shamelessly soulful falsetto, Azar's sense of expression and musicality expanded further, and in 2011 the duo released Live from the Kitchen.

"How to Stop Time" is an album that Azar hopes will have listeners travel through the human experience: "I wanted to make a record that utilizes the entire arsenal, both imaginatively and creatively, one that uplifts, seduces, astounds and scares you a little… just like life," says Azar. NeuHuman is Al Azar on guitar/keyboards/vocals, Steed Corulla with vocals, James Buie on drums, Tom Porcella on bass, Nick Narvaez on guitar, and Erich Graham with keyboards/supporting vocals.
